Registration is the process by which students enroll in class(es). There are two registration sessions for each term:
During each session, students may register by using the Student Self Service web site at https://my.ucf.edu or by assisted registration for exceptions.
Senior Citizen Audit, Transient and SUS Transient Students obtain registration materials from the Registrar’s Office (MH 161). Students may refer to "UCF Policies and Procedures" within this Web Enrollment Guide for details. The registration appointment day and time will be included in each student’s materials. All Transient students are encouraged to use the myUCF system for registration, dropping/swapping classes, and adding classes, as well as to obtain final grades. This system requires a Personal IDentification Number (PID) and Password. The student should refer to ‘Before You Can Begin To Register’ for details.
Newly-admitted degree seeking freshmen and transfer students are required to attend an Orientation session. Advising and registration activities are included in the session. Orientation information is mailed to all new students upon acceptance to the University. Contact the Orientation Office at 407-823-5105 for details.
Continuing Students will obtain their registration appointment day and time for each term at https://my.ucf.edu. Refer to “Before You Can Begin To Register” on page 4 of this Web Enrollment Guide for instructions.
Students are encouraged to print a SASS Degree Audit from myUCF at https://my.ucf.edu. prior to meeting with their advisor. To obtain your degree audit log into myUCF and click 'Student Self Service' within the "myUCF Menu" pagelet. On the resulting menu page, click "Student Center" and then click "Degree Audit." Your advisor can help choose those courses that will meet degree requirements.
First-year students may obtain a “SASS Degree Audit” from myUCF at https://my.ucf.edu. or from one of the advising offices or Special Programs offices listed here:
Graduate students should contact the advisor for suggested courses based on program requirements. Students may refer to "Graduate Student Guidelines" within this Web Enrollment Guide for registration information. Post-baccalaureate (non-degree) students: some colleges (Education and Engineering and Computer Science) require overrides and/or special permission for post-baccalaureate registration. Students should contact the college that offers the class for registration permission. More registration information is provided in "Graduate Student Guidelines" within this Web Enrollment Guide.
