Enrollment Verification

To obtain your Enrollment Verification or Good Student Discount Certificate:

UCF has outsourced these services to the National Student Clearing House.

Verification of current term enrollment is official approximately seven business days following the drop/swap and add period each term. Please refer to the Academic Calendar at http://calendar.sdes.ucf.edu for details.

Students (current or an enrollment within the past two years)

Students enrolled within the past two years may obtain an Enrollment Verification (proof of attendance) and/or the Good Student Discount Certificate through myUCF.

* There is no charge for currently enrolled students.

Steps to obtain Enrollment Verification:

  1. Log in to your myUCF account at https://my.ucf.edu.
  2. Click on Student Self Service.
  3. In the center of the page, under the Academics – Undergraduate and Graduate Careers heading, click on My Academics and then click on Request Enrollment Verification.
  4. Click on the Proceed to Clearinghouse link to go to the National Student Clearinghouse website and follow the steps provided.

Former Students (enrollment that took place more than two years ago)

Students not enrolled within the past two years must request the enrollment certificate directly from National Student Clearinghouse online at http://www.studentclearinghouse.org.

  1. Click on “Students & Alumni.”
  2. Select “Enrollment Verify.”
  3. Click on “Credit Card Purchase” link (there is a charge for this service.)
  4. Follow instructions provided.

Terms and Credit Hours

The UCF academic calendar consists of three semesters a year, Fall, Spring, and Summer.

Credit hour: A credit hour is an amount of work represented in intended learning outcomes and verified by evidence of student achievement that is an institutionally established equivalency that reasonably approximates not less than:

  1. One hour of classroom or direct faculty instruction and a minimum of two hours of out of class student work each week for approximately fifteen weeks for one semester or the equivalent amount of work over a different amount of time;

    or
  2. At least an equivalent amount of work as required in paragraph (1) of this definition for academic activities as established by the institution including laboratory work, internships, practica, studio work, and other academic work leading to the award of credit hours.
